Salmon, trout and many other kinds of fish swim around in the lakes and rivers of Åkersjön. All you need for a relaxing day of fishing is a fishing license and a fishing-rod. Can you think of anything more beautiful than catching, preparing and eating fresh fish which you caught yourself?

Slope
We have our own ski run including a ski lift up a 1500 m. slope with two beautiful descents. This location is ideal for beginning skiers, children and families. Everything is very safe and clearly arranged. And of course there is the possibility to take skiing lessons.

For you it might be out of the ordinary but in Sweden almost no one lives without a snowmobile. The area of Åkersjön is the place to be for snowmobiles. There are dozens of marked routes you can follow. The advantage of snowmobiles over cars is that you can often get somewhere faster by snowmobile. You just scoot over a mountain instead of driving around it by car.
